These plants are ‘full sun’ plants, which means they require at least six hours of direct sunlight every day.

Native Shade Garden – Mix of Grasses and Flowers Native to Woodlands of Southern Minnesota

This garden template is approximately 85 square feet and includes only MN native plants that benefit pollinators and the biodiversity of your landscape.

These plants are ‘shade’ plants, which means they need require part-shade (3-6 hours of sun) to shade ( less than 3 hours of sun ). Most do best in dappled sun throughout the day.
