Head Grower/Retail Greenhouse Manager
With Drummers since 2011, Geri regards our plants as her babies that she’s caring for until you adopt them! During the growing season, you’ll find Geri caring for the plants in our retail greenhouse. She also designs and executes our winter evergreens decor program and assists customers inside the store. Ask Geri about growing annual flowers, vegetables, fruit trees and perennials and she’ll have some great advice. In her off time, she and her husband care for a diverse rural landscape including vegetables, fruit trees and a hobby vineyard along with trees and perennials. She also enjoys canning her produce and cooking with it. Football, motorcycles, ceramic arts and her beloved dogs round out this artist’s life!
In the floral business for more than 15 years, Kari studied horticulture in college. As the Manager of Drummers Floral Department she takes care of ordering fresh flowers and supplies as well as designing arrangements and working with
customers and staff. Kari enjoys working on weddings, different seasonal designs and every day deliveries. She and her husband are enjoying raising their daughter. During the growing season, she dotes on her suburban yard featuring
blooming shrubs, perennials and annuals.

With Drummers since 2007, Johanna also contributes in multiple ways. She is our Landscape Designer having earned a BS in Horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls with a minor in Agronomy. Johanna is a Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association certified professional earning continuing education yearly. Managing the perennials plant section and helping customers with their nursery stock selections and care brings her the most joy. Her design sense doesn’t stop with gardens. She has a knack for creating just the right look for any situation. In the winter season, she can be found performing store set-up and displaying new product. Johanna enjoys vegetable and flower gardening at her home along with running, hunting and fishing in her off time.

Although you might find Margaret helping out with customers in the store, she is usually focused on keeping the business end of the operation organized and flowing smoothly. With Drummers since 2012, Margaret enjoys gardening at home too.
Jacqueline has been at Drummers since 2018 and joins us with an array of experience in internet and business marketing and website production. She got her BA in Geography and minor in Photographer at Minnesota State University, Mankato in 2008 and then ventured to the East Coast to work for National Geographic as a Photo Editor. She says it was very inspirational to work there and learned a ton! Her love and passion for nature, gardening, the outdoors, and animals keeps her busy outside of work and has led her to the position here where she can now focus on a love of hers and help Drummers reach the people who find joy in gardening, the outdoors, and flowers!
Her other interests are ceramics, mountain biking, DIY projects, and spending time in her little camper with cats and loved ones!

Emma joined Drummers in 2018 for the spring growing season as a cashier and has never left. Currently, she is the front end supervisor helping customers with questions, working the registers, processing in coming product and helping where an extra hand is needed. While she does not have a yard (yet!) she keeps busy caring for 20+ houseplants and seasonal containers at home. During the school year, you’ll also find Emma teaching a chemistry course or two at SCC. In her downtime, Emma enjoys reading, cooking, baking, learning about plants, crafting, being outdoors and traveling.
A 1987 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, St. Peter, Minn., Lisa earned her bachelor’s degree in art.
