Join us on Saturday, February 28th at 10:00am as we welcome John Knisley from Alternative Roots Farm in Madelia for an informative and hands-on Fruit Tree Pruning Workshop focused on proper pruning, care, and maintenance for healthy, productive trees.
John will walk through essential pruning techniques and share tips for shaping and maintaining fruit trees to encourage strong growth and maximum fruit production.
Alternative Roots Farm is a Certified Organic family farm and orchard offering over 50 varieties of apples, along with apple products, perennial produce, winter greens, herbal wellness items, and more. You can find them at their on-farm store and at the Mankato Farmers Market.
Whether you’re caring for a backyard apple tree or planning a small orchard, this class is a great way to gain confidence and learn best practices for long-term tree health and harvest success!
