Join us on January 10th at 9:00am for a hands-on sourdough class taught by Christa Wadekamper, owner of Barefoot Lane LLC, a sourdough micro bakery in Waseca, MN. This class is perfect for total beginners or anyone wanting to start their bread-making journey. This interactive workshop walks you through every step of creating homemade sourdough, from learning how to care for your starter to mixing, shaping, and preparing beautiful loaves to bake at home!
During class, you’ll learn how to maintain a healthy starter, mix and knead your dough, shape a loaf with confidence, and understand the timing, tools, and techniques that lead to great results. Then, every student will leave with an active starter, a proofing basket, a bread lame, and a dough scraper. You’ll also head home with one loaf ready to bake right away, another loaf that will be ready the next day, and Christa’s go-to recipe so you can keep baking more!
Please bring one mixing bowl & mixing spoon with you to class. Christa provides all other materials needed for the workshop.
